• The Nextbase 122 features a 120-degree wide-angle lens, which captures a wide field of view. This ensures that both the road ahead and the surrounding area are clearly recorded, providing detailed footage in case of an incident.

• The camera records in 720p HD resolution, providing clear video footage for everyday driving. While not as high resolution as some higher-end models (like 1080p or 4K cameras), 720p HD still offers sufficient clarity for reviewing incidents and capturing key details, such as road signs, other vehicles, and license plates.

• The 2-inch display allows you to easily view and review footage directly from the camera. The display is large enough to check if the camera is properly positioned or to quickly view recent recordings.

• The built-in G-Sensor automatically detects sudden movements or impacts, such as during a collision or harsh braking, and locks the footage to prevent it from being overwritten. This ensures that important footage is saved and available for review when necessary.

• The Nextbase 122 supports loop recording, which means it continuously records video in short loops, typically 3, 5, or 10-minute segments. When the storage is full, the camera will overwrite the oldest footage unless it’s been locked by the G-Sensor, making it ideal for long drives.

• The dash camera supports MicroSD cards (up to 32GB). The card is not included, so you will need to purchase one separately. The storage is used to save your footage, with larger cards allowing more recorded video.

• The Nextbase 122 is designed with simplicity in mind. Its straightforward setup and user-friendly controls make it easy to use, even for first-time dash cam users. The camera mounts to the windshield via a suction mount for quick installation and removal.
